Community Health Centers were recently announced as the Best and Brightest Business to Work for in 2021 for the fourth year in a row by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR).

With offices throughout Central Florida, including Apopka, CHC is a federally licensed health center, provides quality, compassionate primary health care services to insured, uninsured, underinsured and underserved children and adults in central Florida. With more than 550 team members, the CHC provides care to nearly 70,000 patients each year

The 2021 National Winners were evaluated by an independent research firm that looked at several key metrics against other nationally recognized winners. Part of the assessment included a confidential survey that was sent to team members at Community Health Centers, Inc. Key metrics included: compensation, benefits and employee solutions; Employee enrichment, engagement and retention; Employee training and development; Recruitment, selection and orientation; Employee achievement and recognition; Communication and shared vision; Diversity and inclusion; Work-life balance; Community initiatives; and the strategic performance of the company.

The winners of the best and brightest companies to work for in the country will be honored at the Illuminate Business Summit virtual week in January 2022. The best and brightest national winners honored 167 winning organizations from across the country 500 nominations.

During the Illuminate Business Summit, the 101 top-rated winning national companies will be recognized. The Elite Awards will be presented to the highest rated companies that have demonstrated exceptional and innovative human resource practices and set high standards for all companies.

The Best and Brightest program gives the business community the opportunity to be recognized, showcase their best practices, and demonstrate why each of them would be a great place to work for employees.
