Great Lakes Bay Health Centers Set Official Opening Date for New Facility

SAGINAW, MI — The first patients will be treated at the new 30,000 square foot Great Lakes Bay Health Center in the Old Town district of Saginaw on Friday, October 28, officials said.

The new location – on the site of the former John Moore Elementary School on Court Street – will offer services including a nutrition program for women, infants and children and breastfeeding support; a maternal and child health program; eye care; child and adolescent behavioral health; physical therapy; and a pharmacy, officials said.

Staff will move some of these services from the organization’s facility at 804 S. Hamilton to the new location.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 27.

Great Lakes Bay Health Centers provide health care services to medically underserved communities.
